Why Fiber Laser

Built for Metal. Built for Firearms.

Gun laser engraving requires more than a standard CO₂ machine. Our fiber laser system is purpose-built for metal — delivering permanent, high-contrast marks on steel, aluminum, stainless, and titanium at any depth.

Whether it's a custom design on a pistol slide, a name and date on a rifle stock, or a logo on tactical gear — fiber laser engraving produces crisp, permanent results that won't fade, peel, or wear off. Based in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, we serve customers throughout MD, VA, DC, and PA.

Common Questions

Gun Laser Engraving FAQ

What is the cost of gun laser engraving?

Laser engraving cost varies by design complexity, material, and quantity. Simple text or logos start at competitive rates. Contact us for a custom quote — we respond within 24 hours.

Do I need an FFL to get my firearm engraved?

For decorative engraving on components such as stocks, grips, slides, and non-serialized parts, no FFL is typically required. We do not perform manufacturer or importer serial number marking. Please consult applicable laws for your specific situation.

How do I send my firearm for engraving?

For non-serialized components (stocks, grips, brass, blades), ship or drop off directly. For firearm frames and serialized parts, consult local FFL transfer requirements. Contact us to discuss your specific project.

Will engraving affect my firearm's function?

Fiber laser engraving is a surface marking process. When applied correctly to appropriate areas, it does not affect mechanical function, tolerances, or structural integrity. We work only on areas specified by the customer.
